SNMP Informant - Exchange
SNMP Informant-Exchange allows you to extend your SNMP monitoring by adding support for Microsoft Exchange Server. When Exchange Server is installed (2000/2003/200), new Exchange performance counters are added, which you can see if you run the performance monitor applet. Exchange 2000 and 2003 also install a WMI provider. SNMP Informant-Exchange makes these added performance counters and WMI providers available to SNMP.
With the consolidated agents, you can monitor Exchange 2000, 2003 and 2007 by purchasing a single product. Providers for Performance and WMI are included!

Exchange WMI Provider for Exchange Server 2000/2003
With the introduction of Exchange 2000, Microsoft made it so that Exchange configuration and state information could be accessed using WMI. When Exchange 2003 was introduced, even more Exchange configuration and state data was made available.
SNMP Informant Exchange-WMI provider will allow you to collect Exchange WMI information using SNMP.

Note: While this agent will connect to (and allow data collection from) Exchange Server 2000, it is primarily meant for Exchange 2003. That's because with Exchange Server 2000, there are only 7 WMI classes available, and with Exchange Server 3003 there are many more WMI classes available to provide data. - System administrators who are interested in using SNMP to gather Exchange state and user information and other detailed operational (not necessarily performance) information from their deployed Exchange infrastructure.
- Software developers who are looking to add significant functional enhancements to their SNMP management programs.
Our agent does the SNMP to WMI conversion work for you, and eliminates the requirement to use a Windows system at the requesting side. Any SNMPv1 or SNMPV2 compliant application will work!
- WMI-Exchange works across domains! Conventional WMI and PDH require authentication
- WMI-Exchange is faster than VBScript calls to WMI!
- WMI-Exchange agents do not require the prerequisite Advanced SNMP agent like the Application Plus Packs do! They can be purchased separately.
And, as with all our agents, SNMPv1 and SNMPv2 MIBS are included with WMI-Exchange.
